Sensory Friendly Shows

Second Saturday Sensory Friendly Shows

Enjoy planetarium shows in a sensory friendly environment.

During the show: lights will be dimmed (but not completely out), volume will be turned down, and a quiet zone will be available in the building atrium.

All shows include a tour of the night sky. We will include a short break in between the main show and the night sky tour.

The March show is on the third Saturday because the planetarium is closed the week prior.

Minnesota in the Cosmos: Enjoy a special sensory friendly planetarium show! In this original Bell Museum production, explore the formation of the universe from a uniquely Minnesota perspective. Investigate the deep cosmic and geological history of the land beneath our feet as seen through the eyes of a boy on a field trip to Interstate State Park in Taylors Falls, Minnesota.    Watch a trailer

Special thanks to our partner, the Masonic Children's Clinic, for their help in setting up this opportunity for our community!
