Our Location

The Department of Physics and Astronomy is located on the third floor of the Marshall W. Alworth Building on the south side of the main UMD campus.

Directions:

Heading north on I-35, take exit 258 to 21st Ave E.  Turn left onto 21st Ave E.  After 0.7 miles, take a slight left onto Woodland Avenue.  Then take a left onto College Street toward UMD.  University Drive is on the right after about 0.4 miles.  Turn right on University Drive and you can park in the maroon lot (on the right) or the gold lot (on the left) in one of the metered parking places.
