Research Facilities and Instrumentation
Research facilities and resources in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry are essential infrastructures for cutting-edge research, student training, and the professional development of faculty.
In addition to individual, well-equipped research laboratories, our faculty members also share other facilities at the Large Lakes Observatory, the Natural Resources Research Institute, the School of Medicine and the College of Pharmacy as well as the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry has a strong and growing inventory of research and teaching instrumentation (see below). The Swenson College of Science and Engineering coordinates shared instruments between departments and organizations.
