Inside View of Theater

The Marshall W. Alworth Theater

For educational presentations, the Marshall W. Alworth Planetarium is equipped with two digital Projectors. The first of these is a GeoDome Evolver projector, which projects a truncated fisheye fulldome projection of shows and presentations. The other projector is for ordinary projections. Along with our DVD players, surround-sound system and seating for 65 people, the our only limitation is your imagination.

The Planetarium is also equipped with a Spitz A3P star machine, which projects the stars onto the surface of the 30 foot dome.  The star machine can take you to any observing point in the world, projecting nearly 1500 stars.
