Students Prep Rocket Launch Pad

Preparing For Launch

Students in the Bulldog Rocketry Club spend the year prepping for the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition where last summer they took second place in their division. It's a chance to put what they've learned into practice and have a lot of fun along the way.

Welcome!

The Department of Electrical Engineering is focused on providing challenging hands-on laboratory and design components along with a thorough foundation in theory.

We also strive to give our students the skills to be life-long contributors to their profession and society.

The degrees we offer:

Electrical Engineering B.S. (B.S.E.E.)

Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.)

Student Success

Our students are:

  • Inspiring
  • Ingenious
  • Curious
  • Enthusiastic

And we do our best to support their interests and passions.

We have an open door culture and welcome students to stop by and talk to their professors.

Our professors work one-on-one with students and invite them to get involved in research, outreach and student clubs. Involvement is key to success and we want all of our students to excel.

Community Connections

We have an Industrial Advisory Board that keeps us on track to ensure our students are well prepared for their future in the electrical engineering field.

We also:

  • Participate in outreach efforts like after-school programs to mentor youth and inspire STEM learning
  • Host tour groups
  • Offer electrical engineering demonstrations at off-campus and campus events
