Transform the Future
Making a contribution in support of UMD’s Department of Civil Engineering will transform the future. Whether it's scholarship support, graduate fellowships or support for visiting professors, private gifts open the door to knowledge and opportunities that will last a lifetime.
Thanks to private support from alumni and friends 23 civil engineering students received scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year. Your Gift Makes a Difference!
Student groups rely on help from donors to participate in contests and regional/national conferences, where they showcase their skills, share their research, learn from industry experts and network with professionals.
The American Society of Civil Engineers student chapter is a campus life student group and also houses the Concrete Canoe and GeoWall student groups. You can support these campus life student groups with a gift to the UMD Student Engineering Project Fund. To designate your gift to any of these three groups, make your gift and type the group name in the special instructions window.
