Registration Steps

Preparing for Registration:

Review the Pre-Advising slides aligned with your department in the Survey, complete the assignment and submit! 

  • Help us help you! submission of the advising Survey assignment is required.

Know your assigned registration date and time

Consider SCSE Summer courses while planning your Fall schedule. Discuss options with your advisor!

  • Load your shopping cart: MyU>Academics>Registration>Enroll

Review key student resources:

APAS (Academic Progress Audit System): Review your degree audit before and after registration. 

  • Generate a "What if" APAS to view minor or major options in any college
    When generated for your own major; APAS shows the updated program requirements.

UMD Catalog Search: View major and minor requirements according to the catalog year shown in your APAS.

Two for One Grid: SCSE major/minor courses that also satisfy UMD Liberal Education requirements

Reference the Class Schedule when planning your degree.
