Our Location
The Research Instrumentation Laboratory is located on the ground floor of the Marshall W. Alworth Building on the south side of the main UMD campus.
Directions:
Heading north on I-35, take exit 258 for 21st Ave E. Turn left onto 21st Ave E. After 0.7 miles, take a slight right onto Woodland Avenue. Take a left onto College Street toward UMD. After 0.4 miles, take a right on University Drive.
The RIL is located inside the M.W. Alworth Hall (MWAH) which is the first building on the left when entering University Drive from the South.
Parking:
The RIL entrance is surrounded by UMD's Gold parking lot. A parking permit is required for all UMD lots during the fall and spring semester. However, there are metered parking spaces inside the Gold lot.
