Dr. Hasan began with the ECE Department in September 1997. He received a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Bagdad, Iraq (1979) and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, from Colorado State University (1992). Dr. Hasan has a Ph.D in Applied Mathematics from Colorado State University (1991), and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering , from Colorado State University (1997). His research interests include modeling and estimation of random processes and their applications to signal processing'and biomedical reserch, adaptive filtering and sinusoidal estimation.Â
