Brief Bio
Professor Rother has been teaching fluid mechanics and senior design for ten years. His research area is transport phenomena as applied to drops and bubbles with applications in emulsion stability, materials processing, raindrop growth, and reduced gravity operations. His recent efforts concern the effects of surfactants in a variety of viscous flows. Dr. Rother is the current Chair of the North Midwest Section of ASEE and an Associate Fellow of the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute.
