Thesis Research: My dissertation work will focus on examining the relationship between two of Minnesota's predator species; the fisher and the bobcat. While Minnesota's bobcat population has increased over the past two decades, fishers have experienced a decline. Through my research, I hope to learn more about how these two species interact and compete with one another on the landscape, and how their general ecology facilitates these interactions.
