He is being recognized for his outstanding contributions to physics and it is an honor extended to no more than one half of one percent of the organization’s membership. The citation is “for the development of novel techniques to quantify multinucleon effects in neutrino-nucleus scattering and their impacts on neutrino oscillation experiments.” He joins three colleagues who were elected in previous years and cited partly for their accomplishments with the MINERvA experiment on which they collaborate. Congratulations Rik!
