Research Interests: Physical and chemical processes in bottom sediments, nutrient cycling and responses of lake nutrient concentrations to their inputs from watershed, using modern lakes to understand the biogeochemical processes in the Ocean throughout the Earth's geological history, mixing dynamics of large tropical lakes and their responses to climate changes, numerical modeling of coupled physical transport and chemical reactions.
