Thesis Research: My thesis research focuses on how the invasive round goby and native mottled sculpin avoid local predators. By using multiple predator species relying on different sensory systems to detect their prey we can better understand what the central cues are and how the prey's behaviors increase or decrease the likelihood of predator strikes.
