Lorena Lane came to SCSE in 2024 after four years developing partnerships with organizations locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally to foster the career development of students with UMD's Career Center. She is dedicated to supporting students to be career-ready and creating access to experiential learning opportunities, like internships & co-ops, for students through engagement with industry and community partners. Lorena received her Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Change and her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Organizational Behavior from the College of St. Scholastica. Her own undergraduate internship focused on analyzing internship capacity and development in the Twin Ports region. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside hiking, reading, traveling, trying new foods and activities, and being with family and friends.
