Research
Work in the Schreiner organic geochemistry lab focuses broadly on organic carbon cycling through aquatic systems, both present and past. We use stable isotopes and organic biomarkers to trace the source, cycling, and fate of carbon into freshwater and marine sediments to answer questions about environmental change in aquatic systems.
