The Department of Computer Science in the Swenson College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor that will begin on August 22, 2022. This is a full time, 9 month position. The successful candidate will establish an independent, externally funded research program, which includes mentorship of undergraduates and graduate students. The area of research specialization for this position is open. They will have teaching responsibilities in our lecture and laboratory courses. They will also contribute to graduate and undergraduate teaching, advising, and mentoring, while supporting diversity and inclusion and a commitment to justice. Service to the Department, College, and University is also expected. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in computer science or a related discipline by July 1, 2022.
