Time-Enabled Crop Rotation App

The UMD Land Lab & SAP Farm Crop Rotation Web Application

The UMD Land Lab & SAP Farm Crop Rotation Web Application allows users to plan the next year's crops by displaying past crop plantings in a time enabled map. Crop rotation improves soil fertility and helps with soil stability, and knowing when and where each plant group was planted will help determine locations of next year's crops. Users can filter the map by plant family, summarize the total area planted and print the results.

Keegan Rabelhofer, GAC Student GIS Technician and recent UMD graduate, received a U-Spatial Mapping prize for his work on this mapping application.
