Who is it for?

The space is for UMD students, faculty and staff.

When is it open?

The MakerSpace is open Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

What equipment is available?

The UMD Library has a complete list of the rentable equipment on hand.

How much does it cost?

It does not cost anything to use the tools, but there are costs associated with materials. You just need your UMD ID card or your 7-digit student number.

What if I don't have a computer?

Don't worry, we have two in-house computers that you can use!
