The University of Minnesota Duluth MakerSpace is a hub of creativity where you can turn concepts into real-life objects.

Whether it's a complex engineering prototype or a simple personal project, this space will provide the tools and support you need to achieve your vision.

Who is it for?

The space is for, but not limited to, all students, faculty and staff.

When is it open?

The MakerSpace is open Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

How much does it cost?

It does not cost anything to use the equipment. You just need your UMD ID card or your 7-digit student number.

To use the 3D printers, costs are determined on a gram basis and the first 0.5kg of filament are free.
