Iron Range Master of Engineering Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
You may be eligible for this scholarship if you:
- Live in the Iron Range region of Minnesota, which includes the counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, or St. Louis.
- Apply to and are accepted into the UMD Master of Engineering Program.
- Plan to enroll in at least one course per semester.
Award Amount
- Scholarship amounts vary based on funding availability and enrollment.
- Awards may cover up to 75% of current resident tuition rates per academic year.
- Funds can be applied toward tuition.
- Awards will be determined on a rolling basis with priority given to students who apply by April 15 (fall semester enrollment) and October 15 (spring semester enrollment).
- Scholarships may be awarded a maximum of four academic years.
