Academic Advisor
Tom brings an extensive STEM background with a BS, MS, and PhD in Geology. He comes to us from Northland College in Ashland, WI where he served as faculty in the Geology Department. In addition to his teaching and research, he brings a wealth of advising experience. Tom is credited with developing an academic advising program for Northland College and was responsible for training new advisors, as well as leading the first-year advising committee. A former Bulldog, he is excited to be back at UMD and working with our students.
