Prior to joining MIE and MEHS, Katie worked in the insurance industry focusing on workers’ compensation, injury prevention, and risk management.  She worked closely with both employee and management groups in a diverse array of company sizes and industry types. Her research interests span from safety culture assessment to workers' compensation and health data utilization to construction safety.Â
