Second Saturday Sensory Friendly Shows
Enjoy planetarium shows in a sensory friendly environment.
Details
During the show: lights will be dimmed (but not completely out), volume will be turned down, and a quiet zone will be available in the building atrium.
All shows include a tour of the night sky. We will include a short break in between the main show and the night sky tour.

Ticket Prices and Information
- $5 - Adults (age 13-59)
- $3 - Children (age 6-12), Seniors (age 60+), UMD Students (must show student ID)
- Free - Children age 5 and under

Hercules and Other Superhero Stars: Enjoy a special sensory friendly planetarium show! What better way to learn about the rainbow of stars than from the stars in the sky? Watch Hercules and other constellations come alive to show how stars work, the difference between red and blue stars, and all the spectacular stellar features up above.
