The R/V Kingfisher is LLO's 25 foot research vessel. The vessel works in the nearshore on the Great Lakes, as well as on estuaries, rivers and smaller lakes in the Upper Midwest.
The Kingfisher can carry four scientists plus an operator and can be configured to collect water samples, sediment samples and Geophysical data.
