About

Marshall W. Alworth Theater

Our immersive theatre takes visitors on a virtual trip through the cosmos. With a surround-sound system, multiple projection systems, and seating for 65 people, the only limitation is your imagination.

Stunning Starry Skies

The Planetarium features a Spitz A3P star machine, which projects the night sky onto the surface of the dome and is the original projector that the Planetarium opened with in 1967. The star machine can take you to any observing point in the world's northern hemisphere, projecting nearly 1500 stars.

Digital Wonders for All

In addition to the star machine, the Planetarium also has a digital projector and the Digistar 7 digital universe software that can take you flying above the craters on the Moon, dancing through the stars in the Milky Way, and beyond.
