Brief Bio
Mr. Benda draws on over 20 years of experience in industries such as: Electrodeposition Coatings, Aluminum Die Casting, and Aerospace- and Automobile-Manufacturing. He has served multiple roles in technical service, operations management, quality management, sales, and leadership. Utilizing his Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt, his passion revolves around process control, efficiency, and effectiveness.

As well, he understands that Chemical Engineering is the solid basis for solving one of our greatest challenges, effective waste management. In his ‘free’ time, he is an ice hockey official, a volunteer firefighter/first responder and Giant’s Ridge National Ski Patroller. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Engineers’ Club of Northern Minnesota, the Laurentian Chamber of Commerce, and the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability.
